Пункт Ozon

What the app is for

Пункт Ozon is the app Ozon uses to open a pickup point (ПВЗ) and manage it afterwards. It is listed in the Business category and is aimed at people who want to run an Ozon parcel pickup point as a business.

The developer describes Ozon as financially supporting new points and telling nearby buyers when they open. Those supported points are the ones the app is built around.

Setting up a pickup point step by step

Setup starts in the app, where you register and pick a location on a map. You then submit an application and sign a contract with Ozon. The listing gives a two-week timeline from registration to a point that is serving customers.

Before opening you do a basic renovation of the space. Ozon supplies the branding for the point at no charge, according to the listing.

Running the point from a phone

Once the point is open, the app lets you run it without a computer. You can receive incoming goods, hand out orders, process returns, and message Ozon support from the same place.

It also shows the point's performance figures, so you can check how the pickup point is doing.

Serving other businesses from the same point

The listing says that from the first days a pickup point may run other businesses alongside Ozon orders. Examples given are handing out orders for other online stores and installing a coffee vending machine.
