What 123 Numbers is for
123 Numbers: Count & Learn is a children's educational game. The developer aims it at toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarten children aged 2 to 7, and says it covers numbers 1 to 20, counting and basic math across more than 20 games. It is meant for use at home or in a classroom.
The app runs in landscape on phones and tablets, with large touch targets. Every activity has spoken instructions, so a child who cannot read yet can start and finish a game alone.
Learning to recognize and trace numbers 1 to 20
The number recognition games show numbers 1 to 20 with large, bright visuals. A child can touch, spot and trace each number, and hears audio guidance while doing it. A finger counting game links each numeral to a matching quantity of objects.
Counting is practised through interactive games with cartoon characters, a counting quiz that checks what has been learned, and a tap-in-sequence game for putting numbers in order.
Addition, subtraction and comparing numbers
Addition and subtraction are taught with drag-and-drop equations. Each equation is shown visually and spoken aloud, and every problem comes with a step-by-step audio walkthrough.
Comparison games ask children to pick the bigger or smaller number, judge greater than, less than or equal to, and arrange numbers in ascending or descending order.
Memory, sorting and reading number words
A number pairs matching game works as a memory exercise. Sorting games ask children to split numbers into even and odd, and puzzles ask them to fill in a missing number or find a hidden one.
The number spelling section teaches children to read and spell number words such as One, Two and Three. Each word is highlighted as it is spoken, in a karaoke style.
Rewards and how a session plays out
Correct answers earn reward stars, and the app adds sparkling animations and cheering sounds. The bonus games include popping a balloon with the right number, launching a rocket by matching numbers, and a treasure box challenge.
No login is needed to start playing. The developer describes the experience as ad-light and built for children.
