2048

What 2048 by Ketchapp is

2048 by Ketchapp is a sliding puzzle game in which numbered tiles combine when two of the same value meet, aiming for the 2048 tile. The developer, Ketchapp, says it is inspired by Gabriele Cirulli's free web version of the game.

The core game is the same board and merge rule players will know from the original. Beyond that, the developer adds challenge modes, multiplayer and social features, so it suits players who already know 2048 and want a version with more to do on top of it.

Sliding tiles and challenge modes

You play by swiping to move every tile on the board in one direction. Matching tiles merge into one tile of double the value, and the goal is to build up to 2048 or beyond.

The developer lists 64 challenge modes, which it describes as exclusive game modes. A dark theme is also available for players who want a darker board.

Competing against others online

Real-time multiplayer pairs you against random opponents, so each match is played live against another person rather than a computer.

A global leaderboard ranks high scores across players, and you can share your best moves with friends from inside the game.

Saving progress and tracking achievements

Cloud save keeps your progress stored online, so the same game state can continue on another device. The developer lists over 20 achievements that unlock as you reach milestones, giving you named targets to aim for beyond the top score.
