Real-time information and location for train/bus/tram/metro/ferry + e-tickets
By Irfan Rosli

9292 is a Dutch public transport app that combines the timetables of train, bus, tram, metro and ferry operators in the Netherlands. Its planner works out how to get from one place to another across all of them, so you do not need a separate app for each operator.
The developer lists operators including NS, Arriva, Breng, Connexxion, EBS, GVB, Hermes, HTM, Keolis, Qbuzz, RRReis, RET, Syntus, U-OV and Waterbus, along with Flex-OV services. It is aimed at people who travel by public transport in the Netherlands, whether for a daily commute or an occasional trip.
The build we hold is 9292 travel planner + e-ticket 2.48.1 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

The journey planner bases its advice on real-time information from the operators, not only the published timetable. You enter where you are starting and where you are going, and it suggests the route it considers fastest at that moment.
When construction work or a cancellation affects a route, the app offers alternative travel advice on its own. You do not have to search for a replacement yourself.
The app sells e-tickets that cover your entire journey. You pay with iDeal, a credit card or Google Pay, and the ticket is stored in the app.
At the gate you show the QR code from the ticket, so you do not need an OV-chipkaart or a debit card during the trip. The app also gives a direct overview of what you have spent on travel.
The app shows the live location of the vehicle you are travelling on, so you can see where a bus, tram or train is before you reach the stop. Alongside this, it keeps you informed about the latest changes to services on your route.
Live tracking and the disruption alerts are useful for checking a trip in progress as well as before you leave.
