What the airline management game covers
Airlines Manager is a business simulation in which you start an airline and grow it into a larger operation. The developer says it has over 15 million players and is built by a team that draws its aircraft and news updates from real aviation.
The game is aimed at people who like tycoon and management games about running a business. Its core loop is choosing where to fly, which planes to operate and how to spend on research and services.
Setting up routes and watching flights
You can choose from 2,700 airports and plan the routes your airline flies between them. Each route is a strategic decision you set up yourself rather than something the game picks for you.
A dynamic world map shows your flights as they move, so you can follow where each aircraft is in real time. You can also pick from more than 200 services to shape how your airline is run.
Building and painting a fleet
The fleet is drawn from more than 200 airplane models taken from real-life civil aviation. Adding new types gives you a wider range of aircraft to assign to routes.
You can paint your own liveries and apply them to the aircraft in your fleet. Planes you no longer need can be sold to other players on the second-hand market, which the listing presents as a way to trade aircraft between accounts.
Research, game modes and updates
The R&D center holds more than 500 types of research that you unlock to develop your airline. The game offers two modes: PRO, which runs in real time, and TYCOON, which runs at a faster pace.
The developer says it releases monthly challenges with rewards and regular updates that add the latest aircraft, drawn from real-world aviation news.
