The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Control maps, media and messaging, with Gemini while you drive

Android Auto runs a set of phone apps on a car's built-in display, so you can use them without holding the phone. It is built around Google Assistant, a simplified layout and large buttons. The phone connects to the car with a USB cable, and the listing says more than 400 car models support it.
The app is aimed at people who drive regularly and want their navigation, calls, messages and music available on the dashboard screen rather than in their hand.
The build we hold is Android Auto 17.9.664044-release (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

Say a destination and Android Auto starts real-time GPS navigation in either Google Maps or Waze, whichever you use on the phone. Traffic alerts and hazard warnings appear as the drive goes on, along with updates on the route and estimated arrival time.
Navigation depends on an active data connection on the phone.
Google Assistant places calls from your contacts, and incoming calls can be answered with one tap on the screen. Messages from SMS, Hangouts, WhatsApp, Skype, Telegram, WeChat, Kik, Google Allo and other messaging apps can be read aloud and replied to by voice.
A custom do-not-disturb message can be set so that people who text you while you drive receive an automatic reply. The setting is meant to keep attention on the road.
Media apps named in the listing include Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Google Play Music, Amazon Music, SiriusXM, TIDAL, Napster and Deezer. The listing also says news, sports news, audiobook and podcast apps are supported, and that the list of compatible apps keeps growing.
Everything in this group is controlled from the car display or by voice, so the phone can stay in a pocket or mount.
