APCOA FLOW is a mobile parking app for drivers who use car parks run by APCOA. It is meant to cover the whole visit: finding a space, paying, and managing the session after you have left the car. The developer lists commuting, travelling, shopping and charging an electric vehicle as the situations it is built for.
The app brings payment, session control and EV charger access into one place, so a driver does not need separate tools for each step. Parking information is stored in the app alongside them.
At participating APCOA FLOW car parks, you pay from your phone instead of using cash or a payment machine. The developer presents this as the standard way to pay there, not an extra option.
Payment is set up and managed inside the app, so you can pay for a space without going to a machine on arrival or leaving the car.
At participating ANPR car parks where AutoPay is switched on, number plate recognition handles entry and exit. You drive in, drive out, and the parking payment is processed automatically.
The charge goes to the payment method registered in the app. This only applies at car parks that support AutoPay, so other car parks still need a manual payment.
You can start, stop and extend a parking session from your phone. The developer gives the example of a meeting that runs late or a delayed train, where you extend the session without walking back to the vehicle.
Because the session is controlled remotely, the extension does not depend on being at the car park.
The app gives access to EV chargers, so drivers of electric vehicles can use charging points from the same app they use for parking. The listing does not separate the charger access from the parking features, so they share one account and one app.
Parking information is stored in the app, so details of your parking are kept together rather than spread across receipts or separate services.
