AppLock Pro - App Lock & Guard

What AppLock Pro locks and who it suits

AppLock Pro is an app locker for Android. It puts a PIN, pattern or other unlock method in front of the apps you choose, so someone else holding the phone cannot open them without the code. The developer names private messages, social media and photos as the main things to guard.

It suits someone who wants specific apps kept closed when the phone is left unattended or handed to another person, rather than locking the whole device.

Locking apps with PIN, pattern or KnockCode

You pick which installed apps to lock. The listing gives WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Gallery and Settings as examples. Each locked app can be opened with a PIN, a pattern, KnockCode, or a fingerprint on phones that support it.

Because Gallery can be locked, the same control covers the photos stored in it, which is how the listing describes its photo protection.

Catching intruders with photos, alarms and fake errors

The spy camera takes a secret photo when a wrong password is entered. The developer presents this as a way to see who tried to get in. A spy alarm sounds a loud alarm after several wrong attempts.

A fake error screen can appear in place of the lock screen. An intruder then sees an ordinary failure message instead of a sign that the app is locked.

Hiding notifications and setting lock schedules

Notifications from locked apps can be blocked or hidden, so message previews do not show on the screen. The lock timer can disable an app automatically during hours you set, and it can re-lock an app after a short break.

Customising the lock screen appearance

Themes change how the lock screen looks, and you can set a custom background from your own gallery photos.
