What kind of logic puzzle this is
Arrow Circuit suits players who would rather work a problem out before they act. Each level is a board of directional arrows, and the aim is to remove every one of them. The order of removal is the whole puzzle.
Because the board is a set of routes rather than pieces to match, the difficulty comes from sequence. The listing says some boards can be cleared in a few moves, while others need the whole layout studied before the first tap. It rates the game for ages 3 and up and describes it as suitable for players of all ages.
Clearing arrows in the correct order
Each move is a single tap. You pick an arrow that has an open route and tap it to remove it. Clearing an arrow can unlock new paths as the board changes, so every move alters what is available next.
A level is complete once every arrow is gone. The stages are described as hundreds of handcrafted levels that get harder as you progress, so the later boards are the ones that call for the most planning.
Hints and the route preview
The automatic hint waits for a short pause. After a few moments of inactivity, an animated highlight marks one arrow that can be removed now. It shows one available move and nothing more.
The route preview is switched on by the player. When it is active, the extended line of every arrow appears on the board. You can see where each route leads and where two routes will cross before you commit to a move. The listing presents it as a tool for players who like to plan ahead.
Stages, difficulty and colour themes
The listing gives the number of stages as hundreds, all handcrafted, with difficulty rising across them. Early levels and late levels are therefore built to different standards of planning.
The presentation is minimalist. You can choose between four colour themes to change how the board looks. The developer describes the game as relaxing as well as challenging.
