What the At Home Stores app covers

The At Home Stores app is a shopping app from At Home Group Inc. for customers of At Home. It combines product browsing, a barcode-style tag scanner, order tracking and a rewards program in one place.

Its listing puts the most weight on the scanner and on the rewards side, so most of what it does is aimed at people who already shop with At Home and want product details or perks on their phone.

Scanning product tags for details

The scan feature reads a product tag, and the listing says it then shows pricing, availability and customer product reviews for that item. This is the way to get product information without searching for the item by name.

The listing does not describe what a tag scan returns for items without a tag.

Browsing picks, reviews and order status

The app offers curated product recommendations and what it calls instant inspiration, which is a way to browse ideas for the home. Customer reviews can be read on products, and order status can be checked from the app without going elsewhere.

Rewards perks, deal alerts and joining

Signed-in shoppers earn perks as they shop, according to the listing. You can also set up notifications so you are alerted to the latest deals.

The listing says joining the rewards program is free and can be done in store, online or in the app. Perks depend on signing in.
