What this offline MP3 player is for

Audio Player - MP3 Player is a music app for playing audio files already stored on your phone. The listing calls it an offline player, and its main jobs are browsing your library and controlling what plays next. It suits someone who keeps their own music collection and wants a plain player with a few sound controls.

Browsing and searching a local music library

You can browse tracks by song, artist, album or playlist, whichever grouping you prefer. A one-touch navigation control is listed as a way to move around the library, and quick search finds a track by name without scrolling. The albums view shows cover art for each album, so the library can be scanned visually.

Building playlists and controlling the queue

Playlists can be built and edited, so you can add songs now and change the list later. Party shuffle shuffles your music for playback in a random order. The play queue lists the tracks coming up next, so you can see what is lined up before it plays.

Adjusting the sound with the equalizer and bass booster

The equalizer is listed as a way to improve sound quality by adjusting the balance of frequencies. A separate bass booster is listed for adding low-end boost to any song. Both are sound settings that change how your local tracks are played back.

Controlling playback from the notification panel

Notification control lets you play, pause and skip tracks from the notification panel without opening the full app. This is useful when the player is running in the background while you use other apps.
