AutoAlert is a notification assistant for shopkeepers, small business owners and retailers who take UPI payments. It watches the notifications from payment apps and reads the received amount out loud, so you do not have to check the phone after each sale.
The developer names Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, Amazon Pay and BHIM UPI, and says it works with other UPI apps as well.
Each incoming payment is spoken by a custom text-to-speech engine, so the amount can be heard without unlocking the phone. The listing says this suits a phone kept in a pocket or a noisy shop.
The alert can also be sent to a connected Bluetooth speaker, which lets the whole counter hear it.
You pick the voice and the language the amount is read in. The listing says all major Indian languages are supported.
Because the voice and language are set in the app, the alert can match the language your customers and staff use.
