Aztec is a brain-teasing puzzle game for Android, built around a grid of colored Aztec shapes arranged in rows. The developer lists it as suitable for all ages, and the content rating is Everyone.
Each puzzle shows a small reference image of the pattern you need to create. You shift entire rows up or down and left or right until the board matches it. The developer compares the style to Rubik's cube and Magic Cube puzzles.
The core task is matching the target image by moving rows of shapes. Moves are limited to vertical and horizontal shifts of whole rows, so each puzzle is a question of working out the order of moves.
According to the listing, puzzles get harder the more you play. The developer also describes HD graphics for the board and shapes.
The game includes 1600 levels in total. The developer says they are linked together, so moving forward is what opens new material.
As you advance, you can unlock a treasure. The listing presents this as the reward for progress through the levels, and it is the main way the levels connect to one another.
