What the game is for

Baby Panda's Bath Time is a bath-time game for toddlers and pre-k children. Its stated purpose is to teach basic bathing and hygiene habits through play. Google Play rates it for ages 3 and up.

The listing gives the price as free with no in-app purchases. It has been installed more than 10,000,000 times on Google Play.

Washing Kiki and Momo step by step

The two characters, Momo the baby bunny and Kiki the baby panda, are the ones who need washing. The child's job is to work through the bath with them: building up foam, clearing away germs, and rinsing the foam off in the bathtub.

Because the game follows the order of a real wash, it gives children a simple picture of what each part of bathing is for.

Bath toys, bubbles and bathroom objects

The bathroom scene includes bath toys, bubbles and a range of other objects that respond when touched. The developer lists these as interactive, so a child can explore the room as well as follow the washing steps.

The game has two animal characters in total, Momo and Kiki, and both are central to the bath.

Sound, animation and a child-friendly layout

The listing describes audio effects and animations throughout the bath. These give each action a sound and a visible response, which suits a young child who is still learning cause and effect.

The developer also describes the interface as kids friendly, meaning it is built around a small child's use rather than an adult's.
