Ball Run 2048 is a puzzle game built around one ball that travels along a course. Each ball carries a number, starting at 2, and the goal is to build it up to 2048.
It is filed under Puzzle and rated PEGI 7. The listing says that younger players can finish the early stages, but reaching 2048 is hard.
You move the ball by swiping. When it touches another ball showing the same number, the two combine and the number goes up one step in the sequence 2, 4, 8, 16, and so on.
The ball also changes color with each merge, so the color shows how far along the number has come. Merging is the only way to raise the number.
The rail has gaps and obstacles, and steering around them is part of the challenge. If your ball leaves the rail, the run starts over from the beginning.
Thorns work differently. Touching one lowers the number on your ball instead of ending the run.
Reaching the goal pays out based on how many balls you have gathered, so a larger group of merged balls earns a bigger reward.
The listing also poses a harder target: a rainbow-colored 2048 ball. Getting there depends on keeping your number climbing through every hazard on the course.
