Command WW2 Tactical Battles: Hardcore Offline Tower Defense Strategy Game
Senior reviews editor
Battle Strategy: Tower Defense is a WW2-themed tower defense game from Zygle Games. The player holds a line against successive waves of enemies by placing defensive turrets and deploying tanks modelled on historically inspired designs.
The developer presents it as a more demanding take on the genre than casual tower defense titles, aimed at players who want to plan each defense carefully. The Google Play listing rates it PEGI 7.
The build we hold is Battle Strategy: Tower Defense 1.20.0.1 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

Where each turret goes is the central decision, and the listing says placement determines whether a battle is won or lost. Defensive towers can be upgraded as the waves get harder, so an early layout has to be built with later upgrades in mind.
Tanks are the mobile side of the defense. Deploying them takes resources, so the same budget has to cover fixed turrets and armour.
The developer lists air strikes and minefields as tools to use alongside turret upgrades. Used together, they are meant to break up enemy waves that a single type of defense would not stop.
Resource management is described as a core part of play, so each choice of strike, mine, turret or upgrade draws on the same limited supply.
The campaign can be played without an internet connection. Offline maps and missions are included, and the developer states that they can be played without Wi-Fi limits or paywalls.
Progress through the battles is available at any time, so a session can be started anywhere the device is, without a network connection.
