This page needs its stylesheet to be shown

The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

What the Bible Chat app covers

Bible Chat - Holy Bible Study is a Bible app for Android that combines a verse feed, a daily devotional routine, audio Bible, prayer reminders and a church calendar in one place. The listing presents it for adults who want short Bible reading and prayer built into a busy day, and for families who want Bible content for children.

Most of the features are short and recurring, so the app is built around returning to it several times a day rather than sitting down for long reading sessions.

Reading and listening to the Bible in several translations

The app lists NIV, NKJV, NASB, ESV, KJV, NLT, NRSV, RSVCE, Amplified, WEB and CSB among its translations, with others beyond those named. A reader can choose the translation used at home or the one used at church.

The audio Bible reads the text aloud, so it can be played while driving, doing housework or walking. The listing describes it as a way to add Scripture to a day without more time looking at a screen.

Daily verses, devotional plans and prayer reminders

The lock screen widget shows a new Bible verse each time the phone is checked, so verses appear without opening the app. The daily plan takes a single verse, a short reflection and a prayer and presents them in sequence over the day.

Daily prayer includes morning and evening prayers, reminders at set times and a streak counter that tracks how many days in a row a prayer has been completed.

Following the Christian calendar and liturgical year

The Christian calendar shows holy days, saints' days and liturgical events laid out month by month. It is meant to keep the church year visible on the phone alongside daily reading.

The listing does not describe any linking between calendar entries and the daily plan or translations, so the calendar should be understood as a separate reference view.

Bible stories for children

Kids' Bible Stories provides short stories and videos aimed at young children. The listing presents this as an alternative to passive screen time, with the same faith content as the adult sections in a form suited to small children.
