A world of shopping at your fingertips. How good's that

The BIG W app is the retailer's shopping app for Android. It covers the BIG W range and BIG W Market, and the developer pitches it at families shopping with children. The listing lists barcode scanning, stock lookups, wishlists and Everyday Rewards among its features.
Most of the features are aimed at planning before a trip or at buying without going into a store. Scanning and stock checks are the in-store and pre-trip tools, and wishlists and order tracking cover the rest of the process.
The build we hold is BIG W 4.51.2 (APKS split bundle) for Android 8.0 and up.

You can browse and shop the BIG W range from the phone, and the listing says this includes BIG W Market. You can also track an order from the same app, so you do not need to open a separate page to see where a delivery is.
The listing presents this as shopping from anywhere, without getting up from the couch. It does not describe a separate online account or a different checkout path, so use of these features is limited to what the app itself offers.
Pointing the camera at a barcode gives more information about a product, including its price. The developer describes this working in a store or at home, so it can be used to look up something you have seen on a shelf or in a catalogue.
The app can also show whether an item is in stock at a local BIG W store or one nearby. A store finder shows the closest BIG W location wherever you are, which the listing gives as a use for trips away from home. Checking stock before you leave the house is the main use the listing describes.
Everyday Rewards points are collected and redeemed through the app on eligible BIG W purchases. The listing marks eligibility with a footnote, so not every purchase earns points.
Digital receipts are available once you have linked your card in the app. After that, purchases made with the linked card can be seen as receipts in the app rather than on paper.
Wishlists let you add and edit items over time, then move everything on a list into your cart in one step. The listing gives the example of preparing for a holiday meal, which is the kind of planning the feature is for.
You can share a wishlist with other people. The listing presents this as a way to split a shopping list between several people, such as relatives buying gifts or food for the same event.
