Block Rush is a block puzzle game for Android that the developer Oakever Games presents as a reasoning exercise as well as a way to pass time. It is built around one 8x8 board and a set of coloured blocks to place on it.
The developer lists it as suited to short sessions, such as on a train or subway, because it needs no Wi-Fi connection. It is rated Everyone.
You move each block onto the board by dragging it into position. The listing describes the placement as the main skill, with planning ahead used to choose where each block goes.
Because every block has to fit the grid, the choice of where to put a piece is what the game asks you to think through.
In Classic Mode, filling an entire row or column clears those blocks from the board. Clearing lines is how you make room for the next pieces.
The listing presents this line clearing as the core action of the classic mode.
The game has two modes, Journey Mode and Classic Mode, and the developer says you can choose whichever you like. Classic Mode is the one where line clearing is described in detail.
Both modes use the same 8x8 board and the same drag and drop placement.
