The convenient control centre of your Bosch Smart Home System

The Bosch Smart Home app is the front end for the Bosch Smart Home system. It lists the devices in your home, including smoke detectors, lamps and motion detectors, and gives you one place to check and control them. The developer says it also works with devices from partner manufacturers that are integrated into the system.
It suits people who already have Bosch Smart Home hardware installed and want to manage it from a phone. The listing does not describe it as a standalone product for other systems.
The build we hold is Bosch Smart Home 10.35.4421 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

The app walks you through adding rooms and devices to the system and then keeping them organised. Devices are grouped by room, which is how you find and control a lamp or a sensor without searching the full device list.
The developer says the app provides support during setup and ongoing management, so it is aimed at both first-time installation and later changes.
Scenarios bundle device actions under one name. The app includes preset scenarios that you can adjust to suit your home. You can also build your own scenarios from scratch by choosing which devices act and how.
The listing presents scenarios as the way to set the house to a particular state, such as a routine for the evening or for when you leave. It does not describe how scenarios are triggered.
When a smoke detector or motion detector in the system reports smoke or an attempted break-in, the app forwards a message to your mobile device. This keeps you informed while you are away from the building.
If an alarm goes off, the app lets you call the emergency services directly from the alarm, so you do not have to leave the app to dial.
The developer says the app keeps a constant connection to your Smart Home system when you are out, so you can check and change settings from anywhere you have a connection.
The developer also says your personal details are stored only on your own device rather than being kept by the developer.
