What the cat block puzzle game is

Box Cat Jam : Block Match is a block puzzle built around cats packed into a box. The developer, ACTIONFIT Inc., presents it as a casual puzzle to play in short sessions.

The core task is simple to state: clear every cat from the board. Stages get harder as you go, so the game is also meant for people who want a bit more of a challenge.

Moving and matching cats on the board

You tap a cat that is lying in the way to move it. Each move changes what sits next to it, so the order you clear cats in matters.

A match happens when three of the same cat line up together. Clearing the board wins the stage, and the listing describes the whole loop as a puzzle that relies on planning ahead.

Feeding cats and growing them

Cats in the game grow as you feed them, and the listing says you can watch how large they get. Feeding is one of the features listed alongside a competing system.

The description does not give more detail on the competing side, so the feeding feature is the part that carries the progression.

Monthly bus stages and harder levels

The game adds bus-themed stages every month, which the summary refers to as bus jam. These sit alongside the regular stages and give the puzzle a recurring new set of boards.

Regular stages are described as challenging, and the cute cats and cozy animation are the main visual features the listing names.
