What Brotato is and who it suits

Brotato is a top-down arena shooter roguelite. The player controls a potato, the only survivor of a crashed spaceship on a hostile alien planet, and must stay alive while waves of aliens keep arriving. The listing rates it 16+.

The game is aimed at players who enjoy shooters where the goal is to last as long as possible and gather enough gear to keep going. Each run is short enough to repeat, and the choices made during a run change how the next one plays out.

Fighting with six weapons at once

The player can equip up to six weapons at the same time, and they fire on their own, so the main work is positioning and choosing targets. The weapon list runs from SMGs and flamethrowers to sticks and stones, which gives the player a wide spread of ranges and damage styles to combine.
