What this match 3 merge puzzle is

Bubbu Jewels is a gem-matching puzzle game built around Bubbu, a cat who wants to become a royal cat and needs jewels for his treasure. The core activity is placing gems on a grid, so it suits people who enjoy tile and gem puzzles and want a light pet-care layer on top.

Gameplay is the main draw, and the cat provides a reason to keep earning coins between rounds. The listing presents it as a casual puzzle game for players of all ages.

Placing and merging gems on the grid

You drag gems onto the grid and rotate blocks of gems before you drop them. Three gems with the same number in a row or column merge into a gem with a higher number. Merges go up to number 7, and the grid can fill up if you place pieces carelessly.

Larger combinations score more. The listing says you can merge 3, 4, 5 up to 9 matching gems at once, and that these bigger merges earn extra coins.

Spending coins on powerups and Bubbu's items

Matching, merging and blasting gems all earn coins. Coins buy powerups for the board, food to feed Bubbu, new clothes and accessories for him, and backgrounds for his surroundings.

The listing does not describe a separate currency or a way to earn items other than through play. Coins are the only currency it names.

High scores, friend competitions and quests

Each game is scored, and the listing says the score feeds a high score you can push higher with bigger merges. You can invite friends and family to compete for the best score.

The game also offers a set of quests for players who want specific goals to work toward. The listing says you can play at any time, with no set session length.
