Budget planner—Expense tracker

What the app covers

Budget Planner: Expense Tracker is a personal finance app built around two jobs: setting a monthly budget and recording what you spend day to day. The developer presents it as a money manager and personal finance manager, with a financial planner calculator included. It is aimed at people who want to see where their money goes.

Planning a monthly budget

The monthly budget planner is the part of the app meant for thinking about the month as a whole. The developer also lists a budget tracker, which covers the budget side of the app alongside the planner.

A financial planner calculator is included for working through money figures, and the developer lists it alongside the budgeting tools rather than as a separate product.

Logging daily expenses and receipts

The daily expense tracker is for recording spending as it happens rather than at the end of the month. The receipt scanner is part of the budget tracker, and it is the developer's way of capturing purchases from paper receipts without typing each one in.

Together these cover the two ends of a typical routine: a monthly view of the budget and a running record of individual purchases.

Who it suits

The developer describes the app as user-friendly and built for both monthly planning and daily tracking. It suits someone who wants a budget and a running log of spending in one app, and who would use a receipt scanner rather than enter every purchase by hand.
