Build a Bridge! is a puzzle game where the goal is a bridge that carries traffic without collapsing. It suits players who enjoy engineering challenges, and players who would rather experiment wildly than find one correct answer to each level.
Each level has a planning stage followed by a test run, so the structure you draw is the one that gets judged.
Planning takes place on a flat 2D screen. You pick a building material and connect points to form the structure. The three materials named in the listing are wood, metal and cable, and each level expects you to choose among them.
A level can be treated as a tight puzzle, with the aim of building as efficiently as possible. The listing also describes a looser approach: building something odd-looking that still stands.
Switching to the 3D view shows the finished bridge with a vehicle driving across it. The listing names cars, trucks, buses and monster trucks as the vehicles you can test with.
A physics simulation decides whether the bridge holds or fails, so a weak design ends in a visible crash.
The main mode has 86 levels of increasing difficulty, plus hidden and bonus bridges to find. An easy mode keeps the focus on creativity and improvisation, and an in-game hint system is there when a level stalls.
