businessONLINE X is the mobile banking app from Emirates NBD for business customers who want to handle company finances away from a desk. The developer describes it as its new version of the business banking service, with a redesigned layout and a set of changes aimed at speed and ease of use.
Existing businessONLINE users sign in with the credentials they already have, so the app works from the same business banking profile. It suits business owners and staff who approve or make payments and need to do it from a phone.
The app supports biometric login, so access to business accounts can be confirmed with a fingerprint or face scan instead of typing the password each time. The developer presents this as the main way to protect access on a phone.
Because it uses the existing businessONLINE login, there is no separate account to create for the app.
The home screen is a simplified dashboard, which the developer says is meant to make routine finance tasks quicker to find. It is the starting point for the rest of the app.
From there, business payments can be made directly in the app. The listing describes the payment process as quick and easy, so a payment can be set up without going through a branch or a desktop session.
Where a business requires more than one person to sign off a payment, the app lets approvers confirm payments from their own phones. Each approval is handled inside the app rather than on paper or through a separate process.
The developer also lists instant banking services that are meant to be available at any time and from any location. These are offered alongside payments and approvals, so the app is intended to cover both routine work and urgent transactions.
