Paste or type a number and TrueDial checks it against a crowd-sourced
directory built by its users. You get back:

- The name people know the number by
- A spam verdict, and the category others reported it under
- How many different people looked this number up today
- Whether it is a mobile, a landline or a toll-free line
- The region the number is registered in

Numbers you have saved are answered straight from your own contacts -
instantly, and without a search.

SEE WHERE A NUMBER COMES FROM

TrueDial reads the published numbering plan - offline, on your device -
and shows the region a number is registered in on a map, with an accuracy
circle that is honest about how specific the answer really is.

This is where the number was ISSUED, not where the caller is standing.
A Gujarat SIM used in Berlin still reads Gujarat. TrueDial never asks for
your location and never tracks anyone's.

REPORT AND KEEP OUT SPAM

- Report a nuisance number with a category, so the next person is warned
- Keep your own block list of numbers you never want to hear from

Reports are anonymous. TrueDial never shows who reported a number -
nobody should face payback for flagging a fraudster.

CALL REMINDERS

Set a reminder to call someone back at a chosen time, with a note.
TrueDial notifies you, and every pending reminder stays listed so you can
see or cancel it.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
------------------------------
- No sign-up, no login, no OTP. Nothing identifies you personally.
- Every permission is optional. The app runs with all of them refused,
and it never asks twice on its own initiative.
- Sharing your contacts is a separate decision from allowing access to
them. It is off unless you switch it on, and switching it off deletes
everything you have contributed.
- Requests are cryptographically signed, and lookups are cached on your
device so the same number is not sent twice.

SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE

Available in 12 languages, each shown in its own script - English, Hindi,
Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi,
Odia and Urdu. Pick one inside the app, or set it from Android's own
per-app language settings.

PREMIUM
------------------------------
An optional subscription removes ads and unlocks the full detail card on
the number-location screen. Everything else - search, reporting, blocking,
contacts and reminders - is free. Price, billing period and renewal terms
are shown by Google Play before anything is charged, and you can cancel
any time from your Play account.

GOOD TO KNOW
------------------------------
The directory allows a set number of lookups and reports per day, so the
service stays usable for everyone. Contacts you have saved, cached
results and your call history never count against it.

TrueDial does not run on rooted devices, because another app on a rooted
phone can read the keys and the numbers you look up.
