What kind of game Candy Critters is

Candy Critters is a simulation game set in Sweetopia, a candy-themed world where you run a clearing operation with a team of small creatures called Chomplets. It is filed under Simulation and carries an Everyone content rating.

Most of the play is about growing that team and pointing it at candy obstacles. The game keeps working between sessions, so the operation builds up while you are not playing.

Recruiting and merging Chomplets

You buy new Chomplets to add to your team, and each one helps clear the candy that blocks your route. The team is the main engine of progress, so adding more workers is how the operation expands.
