You can trim clips, split a video, or merge several into one. Clips sit on a multi-track timeline, so you can stack and arrange them and preview the result as you go.
Speed runs from 0.1x to 100x, and speed curves let you ramp it up or down across a single clip. A freeze feature holds one frame to mark a key moment, and zoom in and zoom out animations move a clip's framing over time. Transitions can be placed on and between clips.
Keyframe animation works on any setting, so a value such as position or scale can change at points you set along the clip.
The optical flow option builds smooth slow motion, and it can be combined with the speed curve tool. The stabilizing feature is listed as keeping shaky footage steady.
Chroma key removes a chosen color from the picture, which is the usual way to pull a subject off a green or blue backdrop. Background removal is listed as automatic, and motion tracking is listed as a separate tool for following movement within a shot.
Auto captions use speech recognition to generate subtitles from the audio in a video. Text-to-speech adds a spoken voiceover in several languages and voices.
Text comes with a range of fonts and styles, plus preset text templates. Fonts can also be imported from your device. Subtitles sit on the timeline as their own track and can be moved and adjusted in one step.
The listing describes hundreds of trending effects, including Glitch, Blur and 3D, plus filters that are updated weekly. Movie-style filters are included, and brightness and contrast can be adjusted directly.
The music library is listed as millions of clips and sound effects. Audio can also be extracted from a video or from recordings. On export you can set the resolution, with 4K at 60fps and smart HDR listed as available, and adjust the format before sharing to social platforms.
