WATCH THE GAME YOU BUILT
Tap a play in the drive log and the film runs it from the snap: routes drawn before the ball moves, the pocket closing, a corner a step late on the break, the back finding the cutback. Nothing is canned. Every player moves on his own ratings and his own assignment, so the receiver you overpaid for either gets open or he doesn't, and you'll see which.

WEATHER THAT COUNTS
Every game is played in the home city's weather. Rain and snow loosen the ball and kill the deep throw, wind pushes kicks around, and a passing team built for a dome learns what December outdoors means. Check the forecast before you set your plan, and watch the snow come down on the film.

A REAL OPPONENT ON THE OTHER SIDELINE
Coordinators call coverages snap by snap, and a good defensive coordinator reads your offense and calls against it. Teams that trail go for it on fourth down and try the onside kick when the math says so. Teams that lead bleed the clock. It's all built on the 2026 NFL rulebook, right down to which hash the ball is spotted on.

FRONT OFFICES THAT SAY NO
Rival GMs price the contract, not the rating. An overpaid star is as much their problem as yours, a deal that doesn't fit under their cap doesn't happen, and they'll come after your coordinators when you're not looking.

ARCADE OR DYNASTY
Arcade shows you true ratings and keeps the money simple. Dynasty is the whole job: every rating is your staff's read, and it sharpens the longer a player is with you. Guarantees and no-trade clauses are on the table, and a star who outplays his deal will sit out over it.

THE CAP NEVER FORGETS
Cut a guy and what you still owe him follows you. Restructures, tags and guarantees are all still there in year three, after the plan has changed.

A FULL FOOTBALL YEAR
Re-signings, cuts, the franchise tag, three waves of free agency with a sealed-bid auction at the end, then a 480-player draft class with only 224 picks to go around. Your scouts give you a read, not the truth. In Dynasty, training camp comes next: position battles, preseason games and real cuts. Then the season, the playoffs, the awards and the retirements, and you roll it over with last year's bill still on the books.

THE SMALL STUFF
81 stats per player, including the ones that never make a highlight: pressures charged to the lineman who got beaten, yards allowed by the corner in coverage. Every meeting between two clubs is remembered, and the series that stay close and mean get a name, from history to rivalry to bad blood.
