CASIO MUSIC SPACE

A companion app for CASIO keyboard owners

CASIO MUSIC SPACE is a free app for people who play a CASIO digital piano or keyboard. It syncs with the instrument, so the app can work alongside what you are playing on it. The listing names beginners and people coming back to playing as its main audience.

Most of the app is about three things: reading music, practising with guidance, and playing along to a performance-style display. The developer presents watching, listening and playing as parts of one routine, so you can move between them in a single session.

Reading sheet music and learning songs

The app shows digital sheet music, so you can read a piece on screen while you play it. Songs are learned through interactive play, where the app takes you through a piece rather than leaving you to work it out from the score alone.

Guided practice sits alongside this. The listing presents it as a way to keep returning to the keyboard and trying new material.

Changing instrument settings from the app

You can adjust your CASIO instrument's settings from within the app, without digging through the keyboard's own menus. The listing does not give a list of which settings are covered.

Virtual live performance and listening

The live performance mode is meant to give the feel of playing in front of an audience, using a virtual setting. It is one of the listed modes alongside learning and practice, and the listing places it in the same routine as listening to music and playing for yourself.
