Castle Defender Premium

A paid castle defense game built around archery

Castle Defender Premium is a paid strategy game in which you defend a castle against waves of monsters. The developer, Unimob, describes the fighting as archery: you lead a team of heroes and shoot with a magic bow. The listing rates it for ages 7 and up and calls the genre idle defense, so heroes you build up between fights carry much of the progress.

It suits players who enjoy castle defense and tower defense games and want the fight to revolve around a bow.

Tapping to shoot and casting spells in battle

You fire the bow by tapping the screen, so aiming and timing both happen through taps. During a fight you can also throw a freeze and a tornado at zombies that attack the castle. The listing says your heroes have skills to use during castle battles, which work alongside the bow and the spells.

Summoning, upgrading and equipping heroes

Heroes are summoned into your team, and the listing says you can upgrade and equip more than 30 of them. Upgrading and equipping are the steps that make the roster stronger before you start a new level. The listing also says you prepare energy and strategy for your hero before each fight.

Offline play and the premium bundle

The listing says the game can be played offline. Castle Defender Premium is a paid app, and the listing says the premium version includes the hero Epic Frank, 500 gems, the VIP 1 unlock and no interstitial ads. Those items are presented as part of the premium purchase.
