Google Play shows the game at 4.71 stars from 45,937 ratings and lists more than 5,000,000 installs. It is a sequel, and the listing presents it as a collecting game built around cats.
Merging kittens is the first step in the listing's description. You combine kittens into more developed cats, and the tree they sit on grows as you go.
The tree grows into a tower over time. The listing describes this as the main goal, so progress is measured by how much the structure has been built up.
The listing says you collect items and parts for your cats. Hats, bells and accessories are the examples it names, along with other unspecified items.
These pieces are what you gather to decorate the cats you have merged. The listing does not say how items are unlocked or how many there are.
