Relaxing Solitaire game with Emoji
By Mei-Lin Chua
Contributing editor, apps and storefronts
Category Sort is a Solitaire-style puzzle game built around emoji memojis. Each memoji has to go into the group that matches its category, and a level is finished when the groups are sorted correctly.
The listing aims it at casual players as well as people who already enjoy puzzle games. It is filed under the Puzzle category.
The core task is reading each memoji and placing it in the group for its category. The listing asks you to look carefully at each one before you commit it to a group.
The build we hold is Category Sort 1.4.1 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.1 and up.

The rules are short to pick up. The listing says the mechanics are easy to learn but leave room for more depth as you play.
Later levels add new categories, so there are more groups to keep track of. Space is limited, and some arrangements are set up to be tricky, which the listing says tests your logic and how you decide where to place things.
The developer describes the difficulty as rising gradually across the game rather than jumping in one step.
The memojis are drawn in bright colors, and the developer describes the interactions as smooth and the matches as satisfying. The listing presents these as its own claims about the game.
The developer also presents the game as a relaxing puzzle that still asks for some thought, which matches the Solitaire-style pace it advertises.
