Horizontal rules divide the watch face into three clear bands: weather across the top with the current temperature and the day's low and high, the time through the middle in tall upright numerals with AM/PM, weekday, date and time zone, and your personal stats along the bottom. Seconds tick in an accent color beside the minutes. Battery level, step count, and heart rate each get an icon, a progress bar, and a value, so you read them as lengths before you read them as numbers.
