What Claro tv+ is for

Claro tv+ is the TV and streaming app from the developer Claro Brasil, aimed at people who already have a Claro service. It bundles live television with an on-demand library in one place, so a customer can switch between a channel that is broadcasting now and a film or series they chose to start later.

The listing presents it as a way to watch on the television itself, not only on a phone. It is a fit for households that want live channels, sport and a catalogue of movies and shows under one login.

Live channels and sports broadcasts

The app carries live TV channels. The listing names the main sports events and the most important championships as part of this live lineup, so a sports fan can watch games as they air.

Live viewing sits alongside the on-demand catalogue, so the same app covers both a scheduled broadcast and a programme you pick yourself.

Movies, series and kids' shows on demand

The on-demand library covers films, series meant for binge watching, TV programmes, reality shows and children's programmes. The listing also mentions recent cinema releases among the films available.

The listing describes a Claro video area. According to the listing, Claro customers can reach its movies and series without paying anything extra. That area is the part of the catalogue the developer singles out for no added cost.

Signing in and watching on SmartTV, phone or web

To start, you install the app, sign in with your Minha Claro user and press play. The listing ties access to that Claro login, so the same account is used across devices.

The developer lists three places to watch: a SmartTV, apps on a phone, and the web. Content is the same catalogue on each, as far as the listing says.

Original 4:3 titles and pillarbox bars

Some programmes are shown in their original 4:3 aspect ratio. On a widescreen display this appears with pillarbox bars, the dark strips on the left and right of the picture.

The listing states this as a note on display format. It applies to specific older or original titles, not to the whole catalogue.
