A trading card collection tracker for several games
Collectr is a collection tracker for trading card games. The developer calls it a portfolio manager: you record what you own, and the app works out what it is worth. The developer says it has more than 2 million users.
It suits people who collect or play more than one trading card game and want all of their cards in one list instead of a separate app for each game. Its game list includes Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, among many others.
Recording raw, graded and sealed cards
The listing names three kinds of item you can track: raw cards, graded cards and sealed product. Each sits in the same collection, so loose singles and sealed items are viewed together.
Keeping everything in one place is the point of the app. You do not need to split a graded card and a sealed product into separate lists to see them side by side.
Valuing items from a live product database
The app draws on a database of more than 1,000,000 products, which the developer describes as real time. Using that database, it shows a current value for each item it can match.
The developer says this lets you value a product instantly. The value you see depends on how closely the database matches the item you have recorded.
Covering many trading card games and sealed product lines
Data is listed for a long range of games, including Star Wars Unlimited, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Digimon, Dragon Ball Super, Flesh and Blood and Grand Archive. Some non-card lines are included too, such as Funko and Transformers products.
Because one app covers all of these games, a collector with several of them can see the whole collection as a single portfolio rather than checking each game separately.
