Each level asks you to pair every colored block with the gate of the same color. Blocks move only by sliding across the grid, so the order you move them in decides whether a gate becomes reachable.
The listing says the rules stay simple, but the arrangement of blocks is where the strategy comes in.
Some blocks are fixed in place and cannot slide until the pieces around them change. To reach a gate, you either push through a gate of a different color or first move other blocks out of the way.
The developer presents these blocked paths as the central challenge of each puzzle.
The listing says every level brings new mechanics, so the rules you learn early do not stay the same for the whole game. According to the developer, this is meant to train logic and planning as you play.
The description does not go into further detail about specific level types, so the exact mechanics are best seen in the game itself.
