What this drawing game for toddlers is

Coloring for Kids: Drawing 2-6 is a children's drawing and coloring game for toddlers. The developer aims it at ages 2 to 6, and the store rates it for 3 and up.

A child picks a picture from the app and traces its dotted outline, then colors it in with the built-in coloring book. The developer presents it as practice ahead of preschool and kindergarten.

Tracing dotted lines to learn drawing

Each picture comes with dotted lines to follow, so a child practices the hand movements of drawing by tracing over them. The listing describes the app as built around choosing a picture and then painting or tracing it.

Tracing is the main way the app teaches drawing. The listing gives no further detail on how the dotted lines are laid out or how many pictures are included.

Coloring book pages and painted pictures

Alongside tracing, the app offers a coloring book, where the child colors in the artworks. The listing also says children can bring their painted pictures to life, though it does not explain how that works.

Together, tracing and coloring make up the app's two drawing activities. A child can move from following lines to filling in a picture on their own.

Ad-free content made for young children

The developer says the app contains no ads, so a parent can let a young child use it alone without ads appearing during play. The listing says all the content was developed by experts in preschool education.

The app is designed for children to use on their own. The developer's wording stresses that content is safe for young children, but the listing does not name any specific safety features.
