What the app is and who it is for

Coloring games for kids: 2-5 y is a coloring and drawing app for children aged 2 to 6. The listing describes it as educational and aimed at creative children who like to draw.

It is built around two drawing modes, one for toddlers and a simpler drawing mode for slightly older children. Most of the content is coloring pages, with a set of games alongside them.

Coloring pages, toddler mode and simple drawing

The toddler coloring mode and the simplified drawing mode are the two ways a child draws in the app. The listing does not say how the two differ beyond their intended ages.

The app includes more than 400 coloring pages. Each page comes with sounds and animations, so a child colors something that responds with sound and movement.

Game categories and offline play

Beyond coloring, the app lists more than 20 game categories. The listing does not name them individually.

The app can be played offline, so the coloring pages and games do not depend on a connection. The listing states that it contains no ads at all.

Touch protection and the parental gate

Touch protection is meant for small hands. A child can hold a tablet or phone with a thumb resting on the active part of the screen while coloring, and the app is designed so that this does not get in the way.

A parental gate covers the settings window, external links and purchases. The listing says it keeps young children from wandering into those areas by accident.
