What Content - Workspace ONE does with stored files
Content - Workspace ONE gives you a single place to reach files kept in different storage locations. The developer, Omnissa, describes it as secure access to your files from any of your devices.
Most of the app revolves around finding files, keeping the ones you use often close at hand, and working on documents without leaving the app.
Finding files and marking the ones you use most
Search runs across the locations where your content is stored. It returns results whether a file is on the device or still only in its storage location. Filters can be added after a search to narrow the results.
Tapping the star beside a file adds it to your favorites, so it is quicker to find the next time you open the app.
Editing Office documents and annotating PDFs offline
Documents can be saved for offline access, so you can open them without a connection. The listing names offline access to documents as a core feature.
Office documents can be edited in the app. PDF files can be annotated with built-in editing tools.
Creating folders, documents and connecting new storage
A plus button in the bottom right corner opens options to add new documents, media and folders. The same button connects the app to a new repository.
Files can be shared directly from the app.
