What the Costco Wholesale app covers
The Costco Wholesale app is a companion for warehouse members. It brings the membership card, warehouse deals, store information, online shopping, photo orders and pharmacy services into one app, so a member can plan a trip, shop or manage a prescription from a phone.
Most of the listing is about the warehouse, but the same app also reaches Costco.com and the Costco pharmacy. Those sections work separately, so you only need to open the one you want.
Checking out and planning a warehouse trip
The digital membership card is stored in the app. According to the listing, you can show it on your phone to enter the warehouse and to begin checkout at the register.
The app also lists the latest warehouse savings, keeps a shopping list for items you plan to buy on your next visit, and shows hours for your nearest warehouse, including holiday hours. It can open directions to that warehouse. A feedback option lets members comment on the app, the website or the warehouse.
Ordering from Costco.com and photo prints
Members can browse the Costco.com range, which the listing describes as larger than what a single warehouse stocks, with thousands of items not found at the local store. Orders are delivered to the door.
The photo service lets you order prints, wall décor and photo gifts from the phone.
Managing prescriptions at a Costco pharmacy
The pharmacy section lets you order prescription refills and check where a prescription stands. Refill reminders and a tracker for your medications are included, and you can manage prescriptions for family accounts.
You can also transfer a prescription to Costco and find a Costco pharmacy from the app.
