What Cymru Football covers

Cymru Football is a match tracker for official Welsh football competitions, published by FA Wales. It covers fixtures, results, team lineups, match events and statistics across those competitions in one place.

The app suits anyone who follows Welsh football closely enough to want match details without checking each competition separately. The match data comes from FAW's COMET system, which is where match events are recorded.

Following teams, players and individual matches

You can mark a team, a player or a single match as a favourite. Each followed item gives you its own profile, so you can check a player's or team's details without searching for them again.

Following is the basis for the notifications. The alerts only cover the teams, players and matches you have chosen, so the feed stays limited to what you care about.

Match alerts for goals, bookings and final whistles

The app sends a notification when a match event linked to something you follow is recorded on the FAW COMET system. The events named in the listing are goals, bookings and the final whistle.

Because alerts depend on when an event is entered into COMET, they reflect the official record rather than a separate feed. A notification is tied to the recorded event, not to the moment the ball crosses the line.

Browsing fixtures, results, lineups and statistics

Outside your favourites, the app lists fixtures and results for every official Welsh competition. Each match has its team lineups and match statistics attached.

This is the part to use when you want the full picture of a round of matches rather than just the ones you follow. Lineups and statistics sit alongside the scores, so you can read a result in context.
