Daily

What Daily is for and who uses it

Daily matches people who make the same trip often with carpoolers heading the same way. The developer, Daily Android, lists it under Travel & Local. It suits commuters who drive or ride the same stretch most days, since it is built around regular journeys rather than one-off trips.

Both drivers and passengers use it. A driver offers seats on a route, and a passenger asks to join a ride. The developer says the app saves money on each journey.

Matching a regular commute with carpoolers

You sign in with an existing BlaBlaCar account, then enter your commute, meaning the route you travel. Daily uses that route to find carpoolers available for your ride. The developer describes the matching as covering all your journeys, not a single trip.

Offering seats on your route as a driver

Drivers can accept passengers on their route whenever they want, and the developer says there is no commitment attached. Daily proposes meeting and drop-off points that bring passengers closer to the driver's route. The driver can change those points.

Because the proposed points are adjustable, a driver keeps control of where pickups and drop-offs happen.

Requesting a ride and controlling who gets contacted

A passenger can request a carpool up to one hour before departure. After the request, the passenger receives a confirmation with the driver's details and the meeting point.

Passengers also choose which drivers Daily contacts for them, and they can open each driver's profile.
