What the Dario app is for

Dario Health is the companion app for Dario's hardware. The app is listed under Medical and is aimed at people who check their blood glucose and want the results kept in one place. It is a diabetes tracker that also records blood pressure, if the user has the Dario blood pressure monitor.

The listing describes two Dario devices: a blood glucose monitoring system and a blood pressure monitoring system. The app stores the readings from both in one logbook.

Checking blood glucose with the pocket meter

The Dario blood glucose monitoring system packs a meter, a lancet and a pack of 25 test strips into one unit. The listing says it is small enough to fit in a pocket, so it can be carried around during the day as well as kept at home.

The app is the logbook for those glucose readings. The listing does not describe any further tracking features beyond recording and storing results.

Keeping blood pressure in the same logbook

The app pairs with the Dario blood pressure monitoring system. Readings from that monitor are recorded and stored in the same logbook that holds glucose results, so the user does not need a separate record for each.

Pairing both devices with one app means the user sees glucose and blood pressure together, which the listing presents as the main point of the blood pressure feature.

Reading glucose and blood pressure together

Because both readings sit in one logbook, a user can look at them side by side. The listing says this is meant to help people talk with their doctor about both conditions at the same visit.

The listing gives no further detail on the charts, reports or sharing options the app may offer.
