Data Recovery - File Recovery

What Data Recovery - File Recovery is for

Data Recovery - File Recovery is an Android file recovery app that searches device storage for files that have been deleted. The listing points it at deleted photos, videos and documents, and at lost family pictures in particular. It suits anyone who removed media by mistake and wants to check whether it can still be restored.

Quick Scan and Deep Scan for locating deleted files

Quick Scan indexes storage to pull up recently deleted photos, images and audio clips. It is the faster of the two scans, and the listing presents it for recent deletions.

Deep Scan works through the internal storage areas more thoroughly. The listing says it looks for hidden, buried and older recoverable files, which makes it the option for items that are harder to find.

Previewing pictures and videos before restoring

Media Preview lets you inspect pictures and play back video recordings before committing to a full restore. Recoverable pictures can be searched and previewed in a gallery view.

Smart File Organization sorts scan results into categories automatically, so the results come back grouped rather than as one undifferentiated list.

Photos, videos, audio and general files

The listing names photos, images, videos, audio clips, and general files and documents as the kinds of content the scan looks for. Scanning is described as covering internal storage.
