What Dead Target is and who it suits

Dead Target is a 3D first-person shooter set in 2040, after a zombie outbreak. You play as part of a sniper team sent in to clear the dead and save the city. The listing rates it PEGI 16.

It is aimed at people who like FPS games and want to play without an internet connection. The developer states it has more than 200 million players, and the listing shows 100,000,000+ installs.

Aiming and firing at zombies in 3D

Combat is aim, then fire. The listing describes simple controls for aiming and pulling the trigger, with the goal of taking down every zombie in view.

You can choose from a wide range of 3D FPS weapons, including snipers, so you can switch between close-range guns and long-range shots as the situation changes.

Upgrading guns and snipers for harder attacks

You can upgrade both guns and snipers to cope with the attacks that get harder as you go. The listing presents this as the main way to keep up with the zombies you face.

Each stage brings zombies of all types, so the weapons you upgrade are tested against different enemies as you progress through the game.

Endless zombie waves and offline stages

The game sends zombies in endless waves, so a stage keeps going until you stop or fail. Every stage is played offline, with no wifi needed once the game is installed.

The listing presents this offline play as the core of the experience, so the game can be played where a connection is unavailable.
