What the DEICHMANN Footwear app is for
DEICHMANN Footwear is the mobile shopping app for Deichmann, a shoe retailer that the listing describes as the largest in Europe. It covers shoes, bags and other accessories, and it is aimed at people who want to buy footwear from their phone rather than in a store.
The listing presents the app as a way to order and have items sent to your home, with a range of styles, brands and sizes on offer. Most of its features fall under three things: ordering, finding the right pair, and tracking deals.
Ordering shoes, bags and accessories on your phone
Orders placed through the app are delivered to your home at no charge, and the listing also mentions free shipping in general. Bags and accessories are included alongside footwear.
The listing advertises a 60-day returns policy at no cost, so an item that does not fit or suit can be sent back within that window. The terms of the return itself are not set out in the description.
Finding brands and styles with personalised recommendations
The app offers personalised shoe recommendations from major brands, and the listing names Nike and adidas as examples. Recommendations are the main way the app narrows a large range of styles down to what you might want.
The listing points to a variety of styles, brands and sizes across the range, so the selection is broad rather than limited to one label.
Saving favourites and catching sale prices
A wishlist lets you save shoes you like so you can come back to them later without ordering straight away. It is the app's way of keeping a short list of candidates in one place.
The app also carries SALE promotions, discounts and voucher codes, which the listing says you will be kept up to date on. These are the features aimed at lowering the price of an order rather than changing what you can buy.
