Die Carz: Die Cast Tracker

What Die Carz covers

Die Carz is an app for keeping track of a die-cast car collection. The listing names Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Majorette, MINI GT, Kaido House and Pop Race models. Its two main jobs are estimating what a collection is worth and identifying a car from a photo so it can be added to your list.

It suits people who already own a shelf of these brands and want their values and their list kept in one app.

Estimating the value of a die-cast collection

The valuation tool gives a collection a minimum, median and maximum estimated worth, and shows how those figures change over time. The developer says the estimates are built from sales data on eBay, secondary marketplaces and collector transactions it calls verified.

Portfolio trend charts show the collection's value moving. The listing describes these charts as real-time analytics.

Finding top performers and market movers

Within a collection, the app shows which models are worth the most and which have moved most in the market. The listing says these rankings can be seen right from the garage screen, without searching through the list.

This is the quickest way to see which cars are driving the total value.

Reading the price history of individual cars

Opening a single car's card shows a historical valuation chart and key market statistics for that model. The card also shows the exact sales records used to set its value, so the figure can be checked against the transactions behind it.

Adding cars to a collection with a photo

The AI car scanner uses the phone camera. You take a picture of a car, and photo search matches it against the app's database of die-cast models, including Hot Wheels and other brands. The matched model can then be added to your collection, which the developer says is faster than scrolling through lists.
