Play Dominoes, one of the most famous & fun classic board games in the world!
By Mei-Lin Chua
Contributing editor, apps and storefronts
Dominoes is a digital version of the classic tile game, with three rule sets that the developer lists as the most played. Each mode uses the same basic board, where tiles are laid against the open ends.
The game suits people who already know how dominoes works and want to play it on a phone. The listing also points to deeper strategy for players who learn the less obvious tactics.
In Draw mode you play a tile against either of the two open ends on the board. If you have no tile that matches, you draw from the boneyard, the pile of unused tiles, and continue.
The build we hold is Dominoes: Classic Dominos Game 2.6.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.1 and up.

Block mode uses the same matching rule but removes the draw. When you have no playable tile, you pass your turn instead. That makes the game tighter, since a blocked hand can end your turn without a way out.
All Five mode changes the scoring. Each turn you add tiles so that every open end on the board is covered, then count the pips on those ends. If the total is a multiple of five, you score that amount.
The developer describes this mode as harder to pick up at first than the other two. It asks you to count the pips on every open end each turn, which the other two modes do not.
The VIP option is a subscription with weekly, monthly and yearly billing. The listing says it turns off advertising in the game. The subscription is described as a separate option from the modes, which are all part of the base game.
Because the subscription renews on the period you choose, a person who signs up will be billed again at the end of each week, month or year until they cancel.
